Youth Empowerment: MCAQ Basketball Tournament 2025
We are excited to share the highlights from the MCAQ Basketball Championship Tournament 2025, a vibrant and inspiring event that brought together Mongolian youth and community members across Queensland.
A heartfelt thank you goes to Chuck Hebert for beautifully capturing the event through photos, and to Billy Bilguun for creating an energetic atmosphere as DJ at the closing ceremony. We also extend special appreciation to emerging artist Khosbayar Badral (Artist: Mind) for sharing his music and talent with our community.
A Successful Two-Day Tournament
This year’s tournament was proudly initiated and organised by the MNG Basketball Team in collaboration with the MCAQ Sports Team.
Held over two exciting days, the event showcased not only competitive basketball but also the power of sport in building friendships, teamwork, and cultural connection among Mongolian youth.
This initiative was proudly funded by the Queensland Government under the Youth Empowerment and Community Connection Project, supporting youth engagement, wellbeing, and active community participation.
